Art as Communion

by Sergei Antonov

Creation is born of contemplation: contemplation of nature, of people, and finally of objects. Contemplation is a process of mutual creation. You look at an object, and the object looks back at you.

Sergei Antonov

Sergei Antonov is a sculptor and artist living in Moscow. He has taught in the Sculpture Department of the Moscow Architectural Institute. His works can be seen in museums and private collections in Russia, Austria, Germany, France, and other countries, as well as in Russian and European churches.
