  1. Again, there will be more divisions among us Orthodox. The ecumenist ideas expressed in this article are unacceptable to millions of Orthodox.

  2. Zizioulas is respected only by ecumenists. The majority of Orthodox believers consider him an ecumenist, Papist, Jesuitical "philosoper" and heretic and not an Orthodox theologian at all.

    1. Dear Michael,

As you know, we very much welcome constructive comments on our articles. These comments must abide by the Guidelines for Contributions posted at the top of the blog. In this case, your comment clearly contravenes the rule that "ad hominem attacks, name-calling, offensive and derisive language, profanity and the like will not be permitted." Metropolitan John (Zizioulas) is not only a highly respected theologian, whose works have appeared in multiple languages, but a senior bishop of the Synod of the Ecumenical Throne. While you are welcome to offer respectful critique of his ideas or those of the author of this article, you are not welcome to slander him.

      Sincerely,
      The Editors
